Getting Down to the Nitty Gritty
Of Your BuildingBetter Building Works is getting down to the nitty gritty – in buildings that is…
Forensics as defined in Merriam-Webster Dictionary:
As an adjective: “relating to or dealing with the application of scientific knowledge to legal problems”
As a noun: …”plural in form but singular or plural in construction: the application of scientific knowledge to legal problems” “especially: scientific analysis of physical evidence (as from a crime scene)”
Our Discovery: There is a real need for “third party verification” assisting in mediation for problems that have arisen in buildings during construction, post construction, as well as after occupancy has taken place.
We are Building Scientists: And we don’t stop until we have successfully identified causes and solutions to the most wicked of building problems. Our building-as-a-system approach allows us to define and optimize hidden feedback loops that are not apparent to others.
Buildings Have Fingerprints: Just as humans have unique finger prints unto themselves, all buildings are different and each one deserves distinctive design/build considerations. Each building is a “system of systems”, with a multitude of areas that can influence how a building works or doesn’t work.
Things Influence Other Things: “Everything is Connected” – and not always in a positive way. One faulty system or problem can influence how another system is behaving and most likely will create a problem that might not otherwise exist in another part of the building.
Mysterious? We kick Mysterious’ @ss! It doesn’t take a crystal ball. It does take knowledge. We use Math and Science; we depend on the systematic logic of both. Through our many-brain approach, if a problem exists, we will reveal and report the mystery, explaining it in a way that is easy to understand in laymen’s terms with actionable, pragmatic, budget-conscious solutions.
Depend on Us: Better Building Works will act as a third party verifier for mysteries large and small – with no conflict of interest – in examining the property in question, identifying the real problem(s) and presenting a definitive report on what needs to happen to make things right.
